Fuji’s entry-level Instax cameras are always wildly popular, and the newest Instax Mini 13 has finally arrived after delays to continue carrying the crown forward. While the Instax Mini 12 was a breakthrough in consistent exposure metering, the Instax Mini 13 is a much more iterative update. There’s no need to rush out and get it if you already have a 12 (or really any Instax Mini camera), but if you’re new to the scene or purchasing a camera as a gift, the Instax Mini 13 is probably the best entry point into the analog film hobby these days.
You can check out my full written review here and I also have a complete video guide on how to use the camera. I’m still debating if I’m going to create a written guide to go with it – unfortunately AI scrapers and summaries have gotten so aggressive that it is often not worth the effort anymore. But that’s the curse of trying to maintain a website out here in the year of our lord 2026.
Speaking of which, if you want to use one of these affiliate links to pick up your Fuji Instax Mini film and cameras, it’s the only way I get a tiny bit of money back to pay for keeping this site online. Thank you!
