Meet the Characters of Orvieto

October 18, 2015 By Dan Finnen

Check out these awesome character portraits from my novella Orvieto drawn up by the one and only Carter Lodwick! Meet the full cast of characters below:

Helen 1

Our heroine Helen Harvard Hump is an aspiring private detective that will stop at nothing for justice… or airfare to get back to the UK. Her most prized possession is her trench coat, with all the tools of the trade hidden deep within in its recesses.

Edward

Edward is an American college student clumsily backpacking through Europe. A mysterious woman on a bike rides off with his heart while a pickpocket runs off with just about everything else.

Mayor

The mayor of Orvieto is serious about local government. So serious, in fact, that he’s chained himself to the ancient Orvieto Bible that contains all the town’s laws scrawled in its margins.

Louis 2

Louis is a Frenchman in exile who has been picking pockets for decades, looking dashing all the while.

Audio Tourist

The Audio Tourist collects the sounds of famous locations all over the world. He has little patience for dumb American college students.

Cinzia

Cinzia comes from an ancient family that has managed the underground steam baths for centuries. Her rules are quite literally written in stone.

Bike Girl

The mysterious woman on the bike has captured Edward’s heart, but beyond a few fleeting glances, nobody knows who she is.
