If you’ve been watching Polmyth Productions/DistractChicago.com over the past few years, you may remember Liars, the webisode series we produced. Well, at long last, we’ve reunited with Brett Elam and Josh Logan (of Michael Pizza fame) to create the tv pilot for Old Town. I had a blast co-directing the guys with Derek Cox over the past few weeks, and we’re quite excited with how everything came out.
Old Town follows the story of two down-on-their-luck cops, two kids living in train tunnels, and two wealthy alcoholic socialites, all played by Brett and Josh. We shot the whole thing in a tv-documentary style see in shows like the Office and got to play with some awesome toys, including an awesome Cine-Servo 17-120mm lens.

Finally, on our last night of filming we threw the saddest of engagement parties.
