I’ve created a video walkthrough about all things Polaroid Impulse AF, one of my absolute favorite vintage 600 type cameras. It’s been on my recommended camera list for years, so I’ve finally given it a proper video guide for those who are lucky enough to find one.
You may notice I’m trying out a different format for this video than I usually do. Between running a video company, producing a podcast, writing novel manuscripts, and creating stuff for this site, I’m a bit stretched for time. I love making video content, but it’s generally a big time commitment. I’m experimenting with a new video setup that is easier for me to shoot, but also keeps the focus on the reason people are watching the video: the cool gear (and not my face, as pretty as it is).
Enjoy and let me know what you think! I have lots of ideas for future vids.
Also, did you know this website is over ten years old now? Crazy, right? I have a half-written article that looks back at ten years of running an independent website on an increasingly hostile-to-independent-websites internet that hopefully will show up soon.
