It’s hard to believe now, but the first half of the first decade of the 21st century (that’s a mouthful) was dominated by film. The SLR cameras from this era are some of the best 35mm ever made. Fortunately, because they’re not (currently) interesting to collectors, they’re cheap and plentiful. The Canon Rebel 2000 is an example of one of these cameras, and one that you might stumble across in a flea market or garage sale. If you find one, this lightweight camera is a delight to use.
