There’s nothing like a high-quality raw one-inch pocket camera to take with you on the road, and I’ve spent the past few weeks testing out the new Canon G5X Mk II, taking it to Ireland and beyond. Despite the limitations of the smallish sensor when compared to the grain-free results you can get from APS-C or full frame, the G5X Mk II is a blast to use. I wish autofocus was a bit better, but the improved lens and viewfinder are excellent additions that make the G5X Mk II a big step up from the G7X line.
